How to Link Your Bank Account for Payments

o receive payments from your sales on Tradeit, you’ll need to link your bank account. Follow these steps to securely connect your bank account and ensure smooth transactions.

Step 1: Log in to Your Seller Dashboard #

  • Visit Tradeit’s website and log in using your seller credentials (username and password).
  • Once logged in, navigate to your Seller Dashboard.

Step 2: Go to Payment Settings #

  • In the Seller Dashboard, find and click on the Settings or Payment Settings tab.
  • This section allows you to configure how you receive payments for your sales.

Step 3: Select Your Payment Method #

  • Tradeit offers several payment options depending on your location and bank:
    • Direct Bank Transfer: Payments will be transferred directly to your local or international bank account.
    • PayPal: If available in your region, you can link your PayPal account for faster international payments.
    Choose the Bank Transfer option if you want funds to be deposited directly into your bank account.

Step 4: Enter Your Bank Details #

  • Provide the necessary bank account information. Typically, this includes:
    • Account Holder’s Name: The name under which the bank account is registered.
    • Bank Name: The full name of your bank.
    • Account Number: Your bank account number.
    • Branch Code or SWIFT/BIC Code: For international payments, you’ll need the SWIFT or BIC code of your bank. This is essential for transferring funds globally.
    • Bank Address: The physical address of your bank, which may be required for cross-border transactions.

Step 5: Save and Verify #

  • After entering your bank details, click Save or Update to save your settings.
  • Some payment methods may require additional verification. Tradeit might send a small deposit to your account for verification purposes. Check your bank account for the deposit and enter the verification code provided in the payment settings.

Step 6: Set a Primary Payment Method #

  • If you have multiple payment methods set up (e.g., bank transfer and PayPal), select your primary payment method. This is where you will receive your earnings by default.

Step 7: Monitor Your Payments #

  • Once your bank account is linked, all future sales payments will be deposited into your account based on Tradeit’s payment schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on the platform’s policies).
  • Use your Seller Dashboard to track and monitor payment statuses and view transaction history.
