Linking Payment Methods in the Tradeit Seller Dashboard #
- Log In to Your Seller Account
Begin by logging into your Tradeit account using your seller credentials. - Navigate to the Seller Dashboard
Once logged in, locate the “Seller Dashboard” or “My Account” section. - Access Payment Settings
In the dashboard menu, find and click on “Settings”, then select “Payment Settings” or “Payments.” - Choose Your Preferred Payment Methods
Tradeit offers a variety of payment methods. You can choose from options like:- Bank Transfer: Link your local or international bank account to receive payments directly.
- Mobile Money (e.g., EcoCash): Integrate popular mobile money services for local buyers.
- PayPal: Enter your PayPal account email to enable payments via PayPal.
- Credit/Debit Cards: You may need to set up a third-party payment processor, like Stripe, to accept card payments.
- Linking Your Payment Method
- For Bank Transfer: Enter your bank details, including account number, account name, and SWIFT code (if international).
- For Mobile Money: Enter your mobile number linked to the mobile money account.
- For PayPal: Simply enter your PayPal account email.
- For Credit/Debit Cards: Follow the instructions to connect with a payment gateway (such as Stripe) and complete the setup by entering the necessary details.
- Set Default Payment Method
After linking your payment methods, you can choose one as the default for receiving payments. This will ensure your preferred method is used automatically. - Verify Payment Method (If Required)
Some payment methods may require verification. Follow any on-screen instructions to verify your bank account or PayPal (e.g., by confirming a small deposit or authorization code). - Save Your Settings
Once all payment details are linked and verified, click on “Save” or “Apply Changes” to confirm. - Test the Payment Setup
