Tradeit makes it easy for vendors to print order invoices and packing slips directly from their dashboard. These documents are especially helpful when:
- Fulfilling orders
- Preparing shipments
- Including printed invoices with packages
- Keeping records for your accounting or tax filing
This guide will walk you through how to generate and print these documents step by step, using your Tradeit vendor dashboard.
📄 What’s the Difference?
Document | Purpose |
---|---|
Invoice | A formal document showing what the buyer purchased and how much they paid. Useful for accounting, record-keeping, or customer documentation. |
Packing Slip | A list of items in the shipment, included in the package. It does not show pricing. Useful for order verification by customers. |

🧺 Local Business Use Case (Zimbabwe Example)
You’re a vendor in Harare selling handmade shoes. A customer from Mutare places an order for 3 pairs. You want to:
- Include a packing slip inside the box so the buyer can confirm they got the right items.
- Attach an invoice to the parcel or email it to the customer.
✅ You follow the steps above to print both documents before dispatch.
This adds a professional touch and reduces customer disputes.
🔁 Optional: Bulk Printing for Multiple Orders
Tradeit also allows batch printing of invoices and packing slips.
How to Do It:
- Go to Orders
- Select multiple orders using the checkboxes
- Click Bulk Actions
- Choose “Print Invoices” or “Print Packing Slips”
- A single PDF with all selected documents will be generated
Useful for busy vendors shipping multiple orders per day (e.g., during promotions or holidays).
