Creating bundle products

Offering bundle products is a powerful sales strategy for sellers on Tradeit.co.zw. Whether you’re a skincare seller bundling soaps and oils, a fashion vendor combining dress-and-scarf sets, or a grocery store creating “month-end grocery packs,” bundles help you increase order value, clear slow-moving stock, and offer convenience to Zimbabwean buyers.

This guide shows you how to create and manage product bundles using your Vendor Dashboard on Tradeit.

🎯 What is a Bundle Product?

A bundle product is a packaged deal where multiple individual products are sold together under one listing. For example:

🧴 “Natural Skincare Starter Pack – Includes Moringa Soap, Rosewater Toner & Shea Butter (Save 15%)”

Buyers can purchase the bundle with one click—no need to add each product separately.

✅ Why Create Bundles?

  • Encourage bulk buying
  • Offer promotions and discounts
  • Clear slow-moving inventory
  • Provide starter kits or gift packs
  • Differentiate from competitors
  • Ideal for gift seasons (Mother’s Day, Christmas, etc.)

🛠 How to Create a Bundle Product on Tradeit

📌 Step 1: Log in to Vendor Dashboard

Go to https://tradeit.co.zw/vendor-dashboard/ and sign in with your vendor account.

📌 Step 2: Click on “Products” > “Add New”

  1. Click “Add New” to create a new product.
  2. Under Product Type, choose Grouped Product.
(Grouped Products are used to create simple bundle combinations in Tradeit.)

📌 Step 3: Add Basic Details

Fill in the usual fields:

  • Product Name – Be clear and specific e.g. “Monthly Grocery Combo – Rice, Cooking Oil, Sugar (10% Off)”
  • Description – Mention what’s included and the value buyers get
  • Images – Show the bundled items clearly together

📌 Step 4: Create and Assign Linked Products

  1. Save the grouped product draft first.
  2. Create the individual products (if they don’t already exist). These should be simple products.
  3. Go back to your grouped product, scroll to the Linked Products section.
  4. Use the “Add Grouped Products” search bar to add individual items to your bundle.
    • For example: Add 1kg Rice, 2L Cooking Oil, and 2kg Sugar
  5. You can choose whether buyers can change quantities or must buy the exact bundle.

📌 Step 5: Price and Stock Settings

Grouped products do not have their own price—you set prices for each item individually.

Tip: If you want a fixed price for the bundle (e.g. $10 flat), use a “Simple Product” instead and manually describe the included items in the description field.

📌 Step 6: Set Shipping and Policies

Set:

  • Shipping class (based on the total weight/volume)
  • Return, exchange and refund policy (applies to the full bundle)

📌 Step 7: Submit or Save

Click “Publish” or “Submit for Review”, depending on your vendor permissions.
