Step-by-Step Guide to Register as a Seller

If you’re ready to sell your products on Tradeit, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you register as a seller.

Step 1: Visit Tradeit’s Website #

• Open your web browser and go to www.tradeit.co.zw.

Step 2: Click on “Become a Seller” #

• On the homepage, locate and click the “Become a Seller” button, usually found in the top navigation menu or footer.

Step 3: Complete the Seller Registration Form #

You will be directed to the seller registration page, where you’ll need to fill in the following details:

• Username: Choose a unique name that you’ll use to log into your account.
• Email Address: Enter a valid email address that will be linked to your account.
• Password: Create a strong password that includes a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters for account security.
• Store Name: Enter the name of your store, which will appear on the marketplace.
• Phone Number: Provide a contact number to help verify your account.
• Address: Fill in your business or personal address.

Step 4: Agree to the Terms & Conditions #

• Carefully read through Tradeit’s seller terms and conditions.
• Check the box to confirm that you agree to the terms.

Step 5: Submit Your Application #

• Once all the fields are filled out, click on the “Register” button to submit your application.

Step 6: Verify Your Email #

• After registering, you will receive an email with a verification link.
• Open the email and click on the verification link to confirm your registration and activate your account.

Step 7: Access Your Seller Dashboard #

• Once your email is verified, log in to your new account using the username and password you created.
• You will be redirected to your Seller Dashboard, where you can manage your store, upload products, and monitor your orders and sales.

Step 8: Set Up Your Store #

• In your Seller Dashboard, customize your store by:
  • Uploading your store logo.
  • Adding a banner image to represent your brand.
  • Writing a brief description of your store.
  • Providing contact details for customer inquiries.

Step 9: Configure Payment Settings #

• Navigate to the Payment Settings section in your dashboard.
• Choose your preferred payment methods, ensuring that you can receive payments through the platform’s supported methods (e.g., PayPal, bank transfer).

Step 10: Add Your Products #

• Once your store is set up, start adding products by:
  • Clicking on “Products” in your dashboard.
  • Entering detailed product information such as name, price, description, and images.
  • Setting up categories, tags, and variations if necessary.

Step 11: Set Up Shipping Options #

• In your Shipping Settings, define your shipping policies:
  • Set shipping rates based on location, weight, or price.
  • Choose your preferred shipping carriers and methods.
  • Clearly state estimated delivery times for customers.

Step 12: Publish Your Store #

• After completing the above steps, review your store settings and product listings.
• Once satisfied, publish your store, and you are now ready to sell on Tradeit!
