🚨 1. What Counts as a Safety Issue?

You can report issues such as:

  • Fraudulent or suspicious messages (e.g. fake buyers, fake courier requests)
  • Customers harassing or threatening you
  • Identity fraud (someone pretending to be you or your shop)
  • Payment manipulation (fake proof of payment, chargeback threats)
  • Unauthorized access or hacking attempts
  • Inappropriate or offensive behavior in Tradeit messages

📝 2. How to Report a Safety Issue

You can report directly through:

  • Your Vendor Dashboard → Help → Report a Safety Issue
  • WhatsApp Support (send screenshots)
  • Email: [email protected]

Include as much detail as possible:

  • Phone number or username of the person involved
  • Screenshots or copies of suspicious messages
  • Order ID (if related to a specific transaction)

⏱️ 3. What Happens Immediately After You Report

Once you submit your report:

🔒 Step 1: Your report is logged securely

  • A unique case ID is created
  • You’ll receive an acknowledgement email or message within 1 business day

🕵️ Step 2: Tradeit Safety Team begins investigation

  • The account or message in question is flagged
  • Tradeit checks:
    • Internal message history
    • Account behavior (orders placed, other reports)
    • Payment activity

  • Tradeit may limit or freeze the suspicious account
  • If the person is actively messaging other vendors, they may be blocked system-wide

If a user is reported by multiple vendors within a short time:
