The Product Q&A feature allows potential buyers to ask public questions about your products before they buy. These could be inquiries about:
- Product specifications
- Sizes or variants
- Delivery timelines
- Usage instructions
- Availability or restocking
Your answers are displayed publicly on the product page, which helps other customers make confident buying decisions — reducing the chances of returns, refunds, or negative reviews.
📍 Where to Access Product Q&A
- Log in to your vendor account at https://tradeit.co.zw
- From the Vendor Dashboard, click Product Q&A in the left-hand menu
You will see a table listing:
- The product in question
- The customer’s question
- A reply field
- The date submitted
- The option to approve, reply, or delete
💬 How to Respond to Questions
Step-by-Step:
- Click on the Product Q&A menu
- Find the question you want to respond to
- Click Reply
- Type your response in clear, professional language
- Click Submit
Your response will now be visible on the product page, under the Q&A section.

Customer Question: “Is this available in 2x3m size?”
Response: “Thanks for asking! Yes, we can custom-make 2x3m mats. Please allow 3 days for production. You may place a special order on the same product page.”
This helps the original customer and future shoppers understand what’s possible with your product.
✅ Approving or Moderating Questions
You can choose to publish or hide a question:
- If the question is helpful to other buyers, click Approve
- If it’s spam, abusive, or irrelevant, click Reject or Delete
Note: Always respond to valid questions, even if they’re critical or repetitive.

📥 Can Buyers Ask Questions Anonymously?
Yes, customers do not need to register to ask questions — but anonymous questions are still subject to moderation before they appear live.
🚫 How to Disable Product Q&A (if needed)
If you want to disable questions on a specific product:
- Go to Products > Edit
- Scroll down to the Product Options section
- Uncheck Enable Q&A
This will turn off the public question feature for that product.
