Your Step-by-Step Guide to Joining Zimbabwe’s Leading Online Marketplace
Becoming a seller on Tradeit.co.zw is fast, easy, and open to entrepreneurs, artisans, farmers, SMEs, and resellers across Zimbabwe.
Whether you’re selling fashion from Harare, vegetables from Nyanga, or homeware from Bulawayo, this guide walks you through every step — from registration to receiving your first order.
✅ Step 1: Register as a Seller
- Go to https://tradeit.co.zw
- Click “Become a Seller” or go directly to:
https://tradeit.co.zw/seller-register - Fill in the following details:
- Business Name or Shop Name
- Your Full Name
- Email and Mobile Number
- Password
- Select “I am a Vendor”
📩 You’ll receive a confirmation email with login instructions.
🧾 Step 2: Choose a Membership Plan
After registration:
- Go to your Vendor Dashboard
- Click “Membership Plan”
- Select the plan that suits your business (Starter, Pro, Premium)
- Click “Subscribe”
- Choose your payment method:
- EcoCash
- ZIPIT Bank Transfer
- USD Cash/Transfer
- Make payment and wait for confirmation
💡 Once payment is confirmed, your vendor account is fully unlocked.
🛠️ Step 3: Set Up Your Shop
From the Vendor Dashboard:
- Go to Settings → Store
- Complete:
- Shop Name
- Business Address & Map Pin
- Phone Number & WhatsApp
- Shop Description
- Logo (square image)
- Banner (1200x300px or similar)
- Return & Refund Policy
- Social media links (optional)

🖼️ Step 4: Add Your Products
Go to Products → Add New
For each product:
- Add Name (e.g., “Men’s Leather Wallet”)
- Upload clear photos (600x600px or more)
- Set Price in ZWL or USD
- Add Short Description and Full Description
- Select a Category
- Add Stock Quantity, Weight, and SKU
- Set Delivery Time and Shipping Cost
📌 You can upload as many products as your membership plan allows.
🚚 Step 5: Configure Shipping
- Go to Settings → Shipping
- Enable Zimbabwe as a shipping region
- Create delivery zones:
- Harare ($3)
- Bulawayo ($5)
- Nationwide Courier ($8)
- Add pickup options, if you offer them

💵 Step 6: Add Payment Details
- Go to Settings → Payment
- Add:
- EcoCash number (if you accept mobile money)
- Bank account details (for payouts)
- Enable Cash on Delivery (if offered)
💰 Tradeit collects payment from buyers and sends your earnings via your selected method.
🛒 Step 7: Test Your Shop
- Visit your public store page (check via Dashboard → Visit Store)
- Click on a product to view how it appears to customers
- Share your shop link with friends to test navigation and payment flow
🔍 Make sure everything looks clean, loads fast, and has no missing info.
📥 Step 8: Start Accepting Orders
Once your shop is ready:
- Your products are live in Tradeit search and categories
- Buyers can now place orders, message you, and pay
- You’ll get SMS/Email alerts when a new order comes in
Go to Dashboard → Orders to manage incoming orders.
